There was a time when I could not imagine wearing a blinged-out necklace during the day. I was somewhat statement-jewelry-challenged--I thought that glitzy pieces had to be kept for special events and that day-time jewels had to be small and understated. My, how my tastes have changed!!
Now I know that statement accessories can be worn at all times of day; no need to keep them hidden until a special occasion rolls around! Wear that baby out--after all, every day is special, right?! ;)
